The Continuing Story…

Just a quick update to let you know how things are progressing in the studio. Mads has finished recording (thunderingly loud!) guitar overdubs. Lasse’s drum tracks are all done, as are Jakob’s bass parts. This leaves only Henrik’s vocals and synths, and Max’ guitar parts. Overall, the songs are really starting to take form…which is incredibly exciting!

In other Knoxville news, Lasse has finished laying down drum tracks and is now drinking rum and enjoying the rhythms of Cuba. The rest of us are hard at work recording our parts on top of the drum tracks. Stay tuned for more updates from the studio!

Recording session at the rehearsal space

This weekend, we’ve recorded some rockin’ new tunes at our rehearsal space. We still need to add some more guitar overdubs and some vocals, but it’s sounding pretty good so far. Hopefully, we’ll be ready to play the songs at our gig at the end of the month. Check out the pictures from the session below:

Changes in Knoxville

Hi all.

First things first. Due to a surprising large number of people following the band from places such as India, China and the US, we have decided to update more frequently. So from now on, we will be updating this site as well as our various profiles on myspace, facebook etc.

Last year was a slow year with few gigs and more emphasis on writing new songs. Another fresh face also entered the band in the form of Mads Hansen who used to play guitar in I Am Bones. As a consequence, I will focus more on singing, writing lyrics and perhaps playing some keyboards. We also recently changed our rehearsal room. At our new place, we are able to come more often than before and we need that flexibility as people are working at odd times and sometimes cancel at the last minute.

Right now we are hard at work writing new songs and rehearsing for the upcoming shows. So stay tuned!
